Pump it up, it's a fun time for all :)

Guess where I want my 30th birthday!?!? I've never been to this once dreaded birthday Mecca for 3-9 year olds. While teaching I've gotten some invites to attend what I thought was hell on earth. So I graciously declined the offer... However with it being veterans day the children three are home from school and I decided to brave the masses and bring them for some tiring fun :) (obviously I have alterior motives for children fun day). Well what a pleasant suprise I had!!!! Though a bit crowded for my liking, I got in a mini workout on the inflatable obstacle course! I will admit I was huffing and puffing trying to keep up with the children three. :) who says turning the dreaded 3-0 will have to be boring! Pump it up here I come!! :)

On a training note... I spoke with my boot camp instructor last night after class because I have days when I think my legs are getting too big to run such a far distance. I know my legs are defiantly my strongest body part and I can lift a lot with them. However with boot camp 3 nights and running the others I felt like my legs were always tired and sore. But Tony insured me my legs are not too big. He told me what I need is to take more days off a week. He said a minimum of 1 but I need to do 2. We agreed once real training starts i should only be going to boot camp 1 day a week... He also made me feel a little less anxious about running so many miles at one time. He also said I need to listen to the holy Grail and try the run walk method for training... I told him I felt it defeated the purpose of running, but he said to try it. Grrr. Ps Tony has run a few marathons and triathlons so he knows his stuff :).
Well it's off to more children fun day at the bookstore and a special junk filled lunch :) happy veterans day!! :)
